'Lesson 3' A4 Print

This print portrays the concept, “Follow the treasure.” It is a piece from the ‘Lessons Learned’ collection which symbolises treasure as the hopes, dreams and desires we carry with us. It is a reminder to go after the things we truly desire in life, because life is far too short to wait for the “right” moment. As a girl, I remember being so envious of sparkly things and desperately wanting to become the extravagant, stylish woman I imagined myself becoming in my head. For me, jewels (or treasures) are therefore a perfect example of the things we dream about and desire that may not yet be within our reach. I believe we have the power to make those dreams a reality if we are brave enough to go after them. It will also add a little sparkle and whimsy to any space.

P.S. I am now that stylish woman who owns sparkly things, dreams do come true.
